Travelling solo in my Fifties

One of my big regrets is how I rushed through my twenties - graduation, job, house, marriage, kids - convinced that I was always somehow behind.
It has left a lingering feeling of having missed out on some things - particularly travel.
This week's Friday Film is all about that - and about how I used the free A Wilder Way course along with setting New Moon intentions to gradually change my life so that for the next four weeks I shall be running The Studio Club from an Appartment in Naples.
I am becoming a middle aged digital nomad (if the definition can be stretched to allow the nomading to just be from here to Naples and back!)
I've very few firm plans in place for my time but I do know that in The Studio Club I'll be taking a tour of the Archaeological Museum and in particular the beautiful marble floors that were originally from Pompeii.
Then we will be making an English pieced patchwork patch inspired by them which will become a ‘housewife’ travel sewing kit in April.

This is my selection of fabrics, most of them unpicked from a very tattered cushion. I'm planning on leaving in all the original stitch marks, keeping the history of it intact.
As you read this I should be headed for the airport . . . . .
