The Studio Diary
Printed bag
My first attempt at using the heat press to print onto a made up item - in this case a cotton canvas bag.
The bag was scoured - mordanted with my print mordant, chalked, washed and dried before being printed with willow herb stems.
The printing is so strong that it bled through a sheet of teflon - I may try it without any barrier next time as bleeding strongly through would be fine - double sided prints.
