Drying daffodil heads

I have been drying all the daffodils I can get hold of - most of them have been dried in the dehydrator.

I shall then be storing them in a show box with those silica sachets, though jars would be prettier they would lose some of their pigment potential.

I am a new member and I am just loving all the information, pictures, etc. I have experimented with making natural dye and pressing flowers on paper, but became too busy over the years and these things slowly slipped away. Can you believe it actually took me a while to remember what I use to do for fun? SAD. I magically came across Snapdragon life on Youtube and suddenly remembered what I use to love to do. The daffodils make my heart sing and to extend their beauty as a natural dye....just amazing.

Thanks Gabi - it is amazing how easy it is to forget these things!
