A small pack of alum mordant - (Aluminium Potassium Sulphate) - from a specialist natural dye supplier.
Contains enough to mordant 200g wool, perfect for our hanks of wool or alpaca socks.
To use mordant, dissolve in just boiled water and then add to cold water before soaking wool for 12-36 hours.
Do not inhale, wear a mask and work in a well ventilated area.
