Do you want to try dyeing your own skeins of embroidery threads with plants from your garden?

Tiny skeins of embroidery threads for natural dyeing (or using as off white).

These 3g skeins of thread are perfect for experimenting with natural dyes. It is a medium thickness thread - perfect for embroidery and visible creative mending.

They should be mordanted before using - I use aluminium sulphate at 8-10% weight of dry fibres and then a chalk bath.
